Croatia
There are four main wine regions in Croatia. Along the coastal area there is the Istria and Kvarner region to the north and Dalmatia region to the south. In the continental part of the country the Croatia Uplands are located in the central part of the country while to the east is the Slavonia and Danube wine region. Throughout the country, many of the vineyards have quest rooms. Wine travelers may want to experience the vineyards by staying at these charming guests houses and cottages in the beautiful wine regions.
We stayed at a vineyard cottage in the Croatia Uplands region and two different vineyard lodging experiences in Istria.
